Ingredients:
250 g chicken breast meat
8 small onions
3 cloves garlic
2 cm ginger
1 big tomato
5 dry chilies
1 tbsp corn oil
2 cups water
½ tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
1 stalk spring onion
Cooking Method:
- Soak dry chilies in hot water till softened.
- Chop the spring onion finely.
- Cut chicken into 8 pieces.
- Grind the following ingredients into a fine paste:
- 8 small onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 cm ginger
- 1 big tomato
- 5 softened dry chilies
- Heat the oil in a wok and add in the grinded paste, fry till fragrant.
- Add in the chicken and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add water, salt and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
- Remove and place onto a plate and garnish with spring onion.
